Cochlear Implant Add-on Clinical Trial
Autifony is sponsoring a clinical trial of AUT00063 as add-on therapy for cochlear implant users under the title of “QuicK+fire”. This will be a pilot study with 12 subjects, carried out in the UK. Professor Shakeel Saeed, Chair of Otology and Neuro-Otology at UCL, is the study’s Principal Investigator. This study will explore the potential of Autifony's lead Kv3 modulator, AUT00063, to improve the ability of people with cochlear implants to discriminate speech against a noisy background.
The clinical trial will be conducted at four sites in the UK and is now recruiting.
